We have a government employee of a small office in consumer protection, Leandra English, suing the President of the United States over his appointment of a new director of that office. She claims she is the
“rightful acting director” and the President has no right to replace her. I can’t think of one other country in the world where this kind of thing would be tolerated. In fact, I can’t think of any country in the world where it should be tolerated. It is the height of arrogance.
